Skilled or Not?

Skill is the ability to do something well, especially because you have practiced it. Skill turns creativity into art. Skill can be learnt. Talent alone is not enough.

And an 1863 detail from an etching by Sir Joseph Noel Paton, from his many illustrations of the Ancient Mariner poem by Coleridge. Here the mariner has killed the Albatross.
